As dedicated professionals, our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists put resident care first and focus on a nutrition plan that fits within their restrictions, helping our residents meet their health goals. They are experts in food and nutrition and a vital part of our team. We are so appreciative to have them at our facility. In honor of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists Day, we are highlighting our wonderful Dietitian, Sandra Fry!

Sandra goes above and beyond for our residents here at Cumberland Pointe and our sister facility, Park Health. She says being a DTR is such a rewarding position. I'm sure many people have heard the saying, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food!" That statement is seen to be true here at our skilled nursing facility!

"At Park Health and Cumberland Pointe, I get to focus on ensuring our residents receive tasty, nutritious foods to meet their needs and nourish their bodies. Dietetics isn't just about nutrients and calories; it's about the overall well-being of the people we are privileged to care for. Nutrition plays a critical role in the health of our residents, and being a part of the clinical care teams at these two facilities allows me to provide feedback for optimal resident care via best nutrition practices."
