A Christmas to Remember: Chuck's Wish Granted

At Cumberland Pointe, we believe in creating moments that matter, and this holiday season, we had the privilege of making one resident's Christmas truly unforgettable. Chuck Scott, one of our beloved residents, had a special request: to share a memorable celebration with his family at Longhorn Steakhouse. Thanks to the dedication and creativity of our incredible staff, we turned his wish into a heartwarming reality.



The evening was already shaping up to be special, but we wanted to add an extra layer of magic. With some clever planning and the help of Chuck’s family, we orchestrated a surprise for his dad, who had traveled from out of town to visit. Chuck’s family played their roles perfectly, creating the perfect pretense to get his dad to the restaurant without suspecting a thing. As Chuck’s dad walked into the dining area, he was greeted by the sight of his family gathered together, with Chuck at the center of it all. The look of surprise and joy on his face was priceless—a moment none of us will soon forget.

Chuck later shared that this was the best Christmas he’d had in a long time, and his gratitude was a gift to all of us. Being part of such a beautiful moment of love, family, and togetherness reminded us why we do what we do.
